The new Facebook is an interface update that places emphasis on Groups and Events.
Immediately there was an updated on the new Facebook platform, users making use of both mobile and desktop device across the globe were notified by push notifications.
But it’s not all Facebook users that were notified about this change. They were given the option to activate or switch to the new one.
For those who didn’t see the notification require to do it manually from your account page.
For the mobile app users, you will need to update your app to the latest version to get the updated version of FB on mobile.

The feature of the new FB are numerous as it presents a cleaner and brighter interface.
The main platform has a whiter interface, almost an all-white interface.

The newsfeed and groups feature on this platform has also been updated on the new FB.
Group posts will now be prioritized on your newsfeed. Well, this does not mean that you will not be getting updates from your friends on the platform anymore.
It simply means that there will be more posts from groups and also the status updates will also be there.
So you have nothing to worry about. The groups tab has also been modified. Access to groups you are interested in will now be easier than ever.

How To Enable The New Facebook Interface
For those that were not notified about the new FB and how to make the switch, you will have to do it manually.
To switch from the old or classic one to the new interface, follow the steps below;
- Visit FB platform and Login
- And then, click on the drop-down arrow icon.
- Finally, click on the switch to new FB from the drop-down menu.
After that is done, the looks of your FB account will automatically change to the new interface.
In other to switch to the new platform on the mobile app, you will have to update your app to be up to the recent app model.
How to Switch Back to Facebook’s Old Interface
Immediately you’ve switch the new interface, you can at will revert the change from your Fb account’s front page.
In order to do that, click on the down arrow in the top-right and then select “Switch To Classic FB.”
